Field Service Engineer
• Periodic maintenance for our systems within the assigned area
• Troubleshooting and repairing existing systems
• Analysis and solving of problems on customer site via phone
• Analysis and solving of problems on customer site via dial-up connection/remote control
• Occasionally also support for our helpdesk
• Upgrading existing systems on Customer site
• Rotating standby (emergency services) on the weekends and national holidays
Required Knowledge and Skills
• Ideally, professional experience in the fields of mechanical engineering and automation technology
• Good skills in the field of electrical & mechanical installation and control systems
• Very good computer and networking skills
• Knowledge of SPS; knowledge of Siemens and Beckhoff beneficial
• Good mechanical, electric and electronic knowledge and skills
• A Class B (FS3) driver’s license
• Field Service Experience with direct Customer contact in technical area is required
• French language (fully competent) mandatory, conversational knowledge of English is required – other foreign languages are a plus
